Course Objectives | The course objective is to introduce the basic concepts and institutions of social security law and to enable the students to master on short term and long term social security branches. |

Course Description | In line with the objective, the course will begin with the concept or social security and social risks. The characteristics of social security, the duties of the employers and the scope of the social security shall be reviewed. The course then analyses the insurance of occupational accidents and professional diseases, illness insurance and maternity insurance as short term social security branches; and, invalidity insurance, old age pension and survivors insurance as long term social security branches. |
